When you are in your late 30th, 40th, 50th it’s no secret that the body gets older no matter how many downward-facing dog poses you hold (if you know; this pose is the main yoga pose and I love it). But for most of us, the real mystery is in translating the difference between normal aging symptoms and signs of deeper health issues.

Do any of these situations sound familiar for some of you?


  • It's harder to get out of bed in the morning than it used to be. Your feet hurt, your joints are stiff, your neck and low back are out and your body doesn’t want to move. Two cups of coffee would get you going before, but now you need four. By mid-afternoon you're exhausted again.
  • Your bones become weaker and you are losing strength and power every day.
  • Your digestive system is not working as it should be: too slow or too fast, bloating, cramps, heart burn, intolerance to certain foods.
  • Your weight has been slowly creeping up for years now and you're frustrated. Nothing you've done seems to help.
  • Your hormones are imbalanced and you feel that is something going on with your health, but you can’t define exactly what.
  • You don't sleep well at night, and you certainly don't sleep as long as you need to. You have trouble falling asleep or staying sleep with no reason.
  • You get stressed out more often. Headaches are more frequent. And you just started grinding your teeth at night.
  • Blood pressure and high cholesterol are now an issue because the heart and blood vessels become stiffer.
  • Your skin becomes thinner, less elastic, drier and wrinkled no matter how much moisturizing lotion and make up you use.
  • Your some mental functions, such as vocabulary, short-term memory, the ability to learn new material, and the ability to recall words, are reduced.
  • Your controlling urination is more difficult and in men, the prostate gland is enlarged.
  • You have Chronic Conditions, you seem, can’t get rid of.

When you think of living, you think of quality of life. You think of being able to play around the house with kids and grandkids hanging all over you, on your shoulders, or wrestling with you, without reservation. Living is feeling healthy and not burdened by feeling tired, being in pain, or having to use caution with activities for fear of aggravating a health condition.

Do you ever get the feeling you’re doing everything “right” for your health and still getting nowhere? Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. I’ve felt that way many times during my life before I began my health journey.

And it is sooooo frustrating!!!


But even more frustrating is the idea that if something isn’t working for you, then you must not be doing it enough. If drinking eight glasses of water a day isn’t fixing your problems, then drink ten. If running a mile in the morning isn’t helping, then run four miles. And if being on a low-carb diet isn’t working for you, then you must need a zero-carb diet. This stems from the more-must-be-better philosophy which, by the way, I totally disagree with it. Whether or not more of anything is better depends on a lot of factors, which should all be centered on YOU.

Big Question Is:
Is it possible to reverse aging process or slow down?
We believe it is.


reverse-aging-process Everything we eat, say, think, do, see, feel, dream, and imagine affects our overall state of health. It would seem impossible to control all these different influences at once, but by following specific knowledge and awareness about our body, we can correct the vast majority of imbalances now and prevent those that might lie in the future. Do you know that the body can heal itself?

Remember, this body of yours is the only one you'll get.
If you want it to last, you've got to maintain it and fix its problems.
It will serve you well if you do.


Many aging theories have been proposed over the years. The most ancient and incorrect idea that blood pressure and cholesterol rise with age, that bone density and strength declines with age, that middle-age is inevitable, and that sexuality disappears altogether is not true! Any studies that have proven these factors to be true are based on an aging population that was ignorant of the fact that they could do something to break the cycle. The average aging American has had inadequate nutrition and generally lived a sedentary and overweight life. If that is what you choose to do then the above aging signs will be true for you!

What is the secret of staying youthful and aging well? How can we best fight off the toll time takes on our bodies? What many people don’t realize in their search for eternal youth is that the secret to aging well lies not so much in that shot of botox, bottle of supplements or on the plastic surgeon’s table, but is much more dependent on what is being routinely served on your dinner plate, how optimally you exercise, how you control your stress load and how you perceive life. If you take care of yourself little by little, every day - no matter what your age - you can live fuller and more joyful live.

I know this will upset you, but you can't buy health in a bottle. There is no one pill cures all. There is no magic drink, no magic formula, no magic one treatment (even if it's natural) that will cure you. Good health is a multi-faceted approach that means you'll have to work harder to create your health.

But nobody will argue with me that the importance of physical health is undeniable. No matter how much money we have, how successful we are, or how fulfilling our careers or relationships are, none of it means anything without our health. Ask yourself: how much good can you do in the world around you if you are not well? Obviously, your world will benefit from a healthy you as much as you would yourself.

Creating health and wellbeing in your body will bring you more satisfaction than any other aspects of your life. The first secret about perfect health
is that you have to choose it.


I know people who are over nourished (fat), under nourished (skinny), totally out of physical condition (can't walk around the block without being out of breath), depressed, high cholesterol, low energy, high blood pressure, hyperglycemic, the list goes on, and they all have the same question: what herb, vitamin, mineral, mixture, lotion, remedy, cure, drug, or what should I be eating, in order to get better? However, if your body is out of balance, clogged up, stressed out, reacting to drug side effects, then chances are you will not see the results you desire.

Age-Gracefully Good health isn't a quick, easy fix. It is a lifelong endeavor that makes health a time, financial and energy priority. Although you will have to sacrifice some things to obtain good heath, in the long run good health doesn't cost, it pays. But not only can you prevent a much larger health crisis from developing, every aspect of your life will brighten up, when you are healthy: your skin will smooth out, hair shine, fingernails and toenails quit splitting, loose their ridges and turned pink and strong, arthritis deposits disappear, bursitis and joint problems fade away, energy return abundantly and concentration and memory return to normal. And they are surely, certainly within your grasp. If you take care of yourself little by little, every day - no matter what your age - you can live fuller and more joyful live.

Unfortunately, many of us only learn through pain. It takes something really bad to happen to our health before we make positive changes. We are, after all, creatures of habit and change is difficult. It takes attention, work and precious time.

I know one thing for a fact with everything I’ve learned about natural health and aging: Age does not have to control you. It does NOT have to destroy your life. You CAN control your aging. There are scientifically proven steps you can take to slow down your aging.


Aging in years does not have to mean a decline in health, energy, or looks!


In caring for people and watching as my own family members age, I think we can have it all - or closer to it than we might think. As new theories are formed about how the body ages, traditional theories of aging are being made obsolete. The best news is; we can increase our “health span” naturally.
